# Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use topin at topin.app. By creating an account or buying a pass, you agree to them. Questions: [support@topin.app](mailto:support@topin.app).

## What topin is

topin offers practice material for the GRE, TOEFL, IELTS and GMAT: full-length mock tests, practice questions, marked essays and Speaking, and progress tracking. Our content is original and written to each exam's published format. Scores are estimates to guide your preparation; they are not official scores and don't predict or guarantee any result on the real exam.

GRE and TOEFL are registered trademarks of ETS. IELTS is a trademark of its owners. GMAT is a trademark of GMAC. topin is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

## Your account

You sign in with Google and must be at least 16\. Keep your account to yourself: passes are for one person and can't be shared or resold. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

## Free access and passes

* Each exam includes one free full-length mock and a limited number of free practice questions and marked essays.
* A pass is a one-time payment that unlocks an exam (or a bundle of exams) for the period you choose. It doesn't renew automatically. Mock packs add mocks that don't expire.
* Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, in your local currency where available, including applicable taxes. See [pricing](/#pricing).

## Refunds

Passes and mock packs are digital and unlock as soon as you pay, and your first full-length mock is free so you can try topin before buying. For that reason, **all purchases are final and we don't offer refunds**, including for unused time, unused mocks or a change of mind.

The only exceptions are:

* something you bought doesn't work as described and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, in which case we'll refund you;
* you were charged twice or charged in error, in which case we'll refund the duplicate or incorrect charge;
* where consumer law in your country gives you a right to a refund or to cancel that can't be excluded, in which case that right applies.

## Fair use

You agree not to:

* copy, scrape, resell or publish topin's questions, explanations or audio;
* use bots or automated tools to access topin or get around its limits;
* interfere with the service, its security, or other learners;
* use topin for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

## Your content

Your essays and recordings stay yours. You let us store and process them to mark them, show you feedback and run the service, as described in our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).

## Availability and changes

We work to keep topin available and accurate, but it's provided as is, and there may be interruptions or mistakes. We may improve or change features; if we make a change that takes away something you paid for, we'll offer a fair remedy.

## Liability

To the extent the law allows, topin isn't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

## Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you before it applies.
